This Youth Services & Literature certificate, in partnership with my MLIS degree, has equipped me with the tools and competency needed to create stimulating environments for our youngest patrons to enjoy, learn, and grow, while creating meaningful and enduring positive associations with their local public library, using American Library Services to Children (ALSC) and Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) competencies.
